NYBFW: Trends for 2026 Brides
As New York Bridal Fashion Week (My christmas) unveiled its Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 collections, a blend of timeless elegance and contemporary flair emerged, setting the tone for upcoming bridal trends. Here are the standout styles I’m excited for future brides to get their hands on!
1. Bridal Separates: Versatility Meets Style
Bridal separates have taken center stage, offering brides the flexibility to mix and match pieces for a personalized look. Designers like Alexandra Grecco showcased seafoam tea-length skirts paired with intricately embroidered tops. Jane Hill Bridal is about to drop her bridal seperates this April 2025.
2. Short and Chic: The Rise of Mini Dresses
Short wedding dresses are making a significant impact, perfect for modern ceremonies or as a second look. Margo’s latest collection features corset minis and seperates, catering to brides seeking a contemporary twist.
3. Corsetry and Drop-Waist Silhouettes: Flattering Forms
Corset bodices and drop-waist designs are redefining bridal silhouettes, emphasizing the torso and creating elongated profiles. This trend offers a blend of structure and grace, appealing to brides desiring a classic yet modern aesthetic. Nicole and Felicia, Kim Kasass, and Sen-studio have been ruling the corset space. I’m so excited how to see more from them, and see how they put their own twist on the growing trend.
4. 3-D Florals and Textured Embellishments: Romantic Details
Designers are embracing texture with 3-D floral appliqués and intricate embellishments, adding depth and romance to gowns. Galia Lahav and Nicole and Felicia have incorporated these elements, bringing gowns to life with blooming details.
