How to “NOT” have a meltdown at your bridal appointment/s
Hey, so youre anxious? Maybe you need an extra dose of your Lexapro, maybe the champs will kick in (are we still saying champs?). As a stylist I have seen many many meltdowns, let’s get into what triggered those brides and what you can do to prevent this from happening.
You brought the person who secretly hates you.
Yep, you had to right? Did’nt want to leave them out. Beucase they too would have had a “meltdown”. But what about you? The bride. You’re kind of a big deal here. Star of the show. Center of attention. People that secretly hate you are’nt going to like that. So it’s best to leave them at home.
You keep trying on dresses that don’t fit.
If your consultant is politely advising a dress won’t fit, I promise you she has your best interest in mind. You dont have to squeeze, jump, put on an extra waist cincher. Maybe try one, but no more than that before a womans mind starts to spiral. It’s no fun seeing yourself in a dress that doesnt fit no matter what your size in.
You are 10 dresses in and you havent found “the one”
Hey so this isnt a big deal! I promise. The one is coming. It could be number 11. It could be number 52. That’s ok.
Final Thoughts: Keep the Joy in Your Bridal Appointment
Your bridal appointment should be a fun and memorable experience, not a stressful one! By setting realistic expectations, keeping your entourage small and supportive, staying open-minded, and remembering that the perfect dress is the one that makes you feel amazing, you can avoid unnecessary meltdowns. Take a deep breath, trust the process, and most importantly—enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime moment. Your dream dress is out there, and with the right mindset, you’ll find it with confidence and joy! 💕
