Danielle Frankel: The wedding dress wizard in a league of her own.
Danielle Frankel is seriously changing the game when it comes to bridal fashion. Her designs are effortlessly cool—think timeless with a modern, edgy twist. She studied at Parsons, worked with Marchesa and Vera Wang, and then launched her own label in 2017. Every piece is made in NYC’s Garment District and feels like something you'd want to wear long after your wedding day. She was even the first bridal designer chosen for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, which is wild. Celebs like Zoë Kravitz and Alex Cooper have rocked her gowns, and it makes total sense—her stuff is anything but basic. Danielle has this super refreshing take where she doesn’t really see herself as a “bridal” designer, and you can totally feel that in her work. It’s bridal for the bride who wants something different, something that feels like her.
I first fell in love with her gowns and her use of layering and silk. Unique necklines never seen before, and her use of this very specific shade of blue.
Her latest collection “X” is a showstopping array of her just how much of a visionary Danielle really is. The future of bridal is here.
